Electromagnetic relay for socket

This is a miniature industrial relay designed for mounting in a socket. Its compact dimensions (27.5 x 21.2 x 35.6 mm) and width of 21.2 mm make it suitable even in tight spaces. This relay is ideal for building automation, lighting control, alarm systems and many other applications requiring reliable circuit switching.

Construction and functionality

The relay is equipped with two changeover contacts (2P), allowing control of two independent circuits. The AC1 output current is 12 A at 250 V, and DC1 – 12 A at 24 V. The 220 V DC powered coil is non-polarized, which simplifies installation. Additionally, the relay has a mechanical indicator W, a test button T with a lock, and a red LED indicator L signaling the on state. The contacts are made of AgNi – a silver-nickel alloy, which ensures good conductivity and corrosion resistance.

Applications and compatibility

The R2N-2012-23-1220-WTL relay is compatible with popular sockets: GZT2, GZM2, GZP2, SU4/2D, SU4/2L and G4/2. The IP40 protection class provides protection against solid objects larger than 1 mm. This makes it suitable for operation in environments with a moderate degree of contamination. A wide range of operating temperatures (-40°C to +70°C) enables its use in various environmental conditions.
