Relay for socket – a compact solution for industrial applications

This miniature electromagnetic relay, designed for mounting in a plug-in socket, offers reliable circuit switching in demanding industrial conditions. Its compact dimensions (27.5 x 21.2 x 35.6 mm) allow for efficient use of space inside control cabinets and switchboards. The relay is particularly useful where space saving and ease of replacement in the event of a failure are important.

Construction and functionality

The relay is equipped with two changeover contacts (2P), which allows control of two independent circuits. Made of high-quality materials, including AgNi contacts, it ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation. A mechanical indicator (W) and a test button with locking (T) facilitate diagnostics and functional testing. Additionally, a red LED (L) indicates the coil activation status.

This relay is compatible with popular sockets: GZT2, GZM2, GZP2, SU4/2D, SU4/2L and G4/2 – which provides flexibility in the selection of accessories and ease of integration with existing installations. Its IP40 protection class guarantees protection against contact and ingress of solid objects.

Operating parameters and application

The relay operates at a supply voltage of 110 V AC. The rated switching current is 12 A for AC1 circuits (250 V) and 12 A for DC1 circuits (24 V). Thanks to this, it is suitable for controlling various loads – from lighting to motors and heaters. A wide operating temperature range (-40°C to +55°C) allows its use in harsh environmental conditions. The coil resistance is 3450 Ω.
