Electromagnetic relay for demanding applications

This miniature electromagnetic relay, only 21.2 mm wide, is designed to operate in harsh industrial conditions. Designed for mounting in plug-in sockets, it offers reliable switching of AC and DC circuits. Its compact dimensions (27.5 x 21.2 x 35.6 mm) allow for efficient use of space in control cabinets and switchgear.

Design and functionality

The relay has four switching contacts (4P), providing versatility in various control systems. The contact leads are arranged to facilitate connection of wires. A built-in mechanical indicator (W) and a test button (T) with locking function facilitate diagnostics and maintenance of the installation. The IP40 protection class guarantees protection against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1mm.

Parameters and application

The relay operates at a supply voltage of 120 V AC. The maximum load current for AC circuits is 6 A at 250 V, and for DC circuits – also 6 A, but at 24 V. The contacts made of AgNi ensure good conductivity and corrosion resistance. This makes the relay suitable for applications requiring frequent switching of the load. Compatible with popular sockets: GZT4, GZM4, GZ4, GS4, GZP4, SU4D, SU4L and G4 – which facilitates the replacement and modernization of existing installations.
