Backflush filter for up to 70°C, with fittings, 3/4 inch, 50 micron mesh F76S-3/4ACM
Backflush Filter, 3/4 inch, 50 µm – for installations requiring clean water
The filter is designed for continuous removal of mechanical contaminants from water in heating and district heating systems, where protection of equipment against sediment and sand is critical. It features a steel filter element with a mesh size of 50 microns, effectively trapping particles smaller than 0.05 mm – ideal for pumps, valves, and heat exchangers.
The housing is made of dezincification-resistant brass (DZR), ensuring durability even during prolonged contact with water of varying chemical composition. The internal design enables backflushing without disassembly – simply open the drain valve, and contaminants will be flushed out by reversing the water flow. The filter element does not require replacement; it only needs to be rinsed.
A pressure gauge on the housing indicates the pressure difference between the filter inlet and outlet. When the pressure drop exceeds 0.5 bar (at nominal flow rate), it signals that the screen is clogged and it is time to backflush. No guessing required – you have a clear indicator.
The connections are external BSPT-R threads (ISO 7-1), allowing easy installation in both copper and steel pipes. Installation is possible only in a horizontal position – do not install vertically. The installation length is 178 mm, and the housing height is 350 mm. The nominal flow rate is 5.5 m³/h, and the maximum operating pressure is 25 bar – suitable for central heating and domestic hot water systems.
The filter includes NBR seals, maintaining tightness at temperatures ranging from 2 to 70 °C. It does not include a pressure reducer or air vent – it is a purely mechanical filter without additional functions.
The drain outlet has a diameter of 50 mm, enabling easy connection to a sewer pipe or sediment collection container. There is no transparent housing – contaminants are not directly visible, but the pressure gauge and backflush capability compensate for this.
A 5-year warranty from the date of manufacture is provided, indicating that the design is intended for long-term operation without the need for part replacement.
It is not DVGW certified – do not use it in potable water installations without additional compliance confirmation.
