Backflush filter with fittings, 1 1/4 inch, 20 micron mesh F76S-11/4AB
Filters water even during cleaning
The backwash filter operates continuously — while the screen is being cleaned, water continues to flow through the upper section of the cartridge, ensuring no interruption in supply. The double-spiral technology enables simultaneous cleaning of the upper and lower filter layers, while a flow-driven rotor removes contaminants centrifugally — without the need for disassembly.
Durable construction
The housing is made of dezincification-resistant brass (DZR), providing corrosion resistance in aggressive water conditions. The filter cartridge features a stainless steel screen with a 20 µm mesh size, effectively trapping rust, sand, hemp fibers, and other particles. The polyamide (PA) filter bowl and NBR seals are resistant to temperatures ranging from 2 to 40 °C — ideal for district heating systems and water supply installations.
Simple yet precise filtration management
The built-in pressure gauge displays the pressure difference between inlet and outlet — a quick glance is sufficient to assess the degree of filter clogging. When the pressure drop reaches 0.5 bar at a flow rate of 8.9 m³/h, backwashing should be initiated. The 50 mm threaded drain valve allows easy discharge of contaminants without disconnecting the system. A special adjustment ring indicates when cleaning is required — no guessing needed.
Backwashing — minimal water usage, high efficiency
The backwashing process requires a minimum dynamic pressure of 1.5 bar and, thanks to the optimized flow design and rotor, consumes significantly less water than traditional methods. The filter requires no tools for cleaning — simply open the drain valve for a few seconds. The cartridge is replaceable, and the transparent housing allows visual inspection of the filter condition.
Compliance and safety
All materials meet KTW hygienic requirements and are approved for contact with drinking water. With a maximum working pressure of 16 bar (PN 16) and a nominal flow rate of 8.9 m³/h, the filter is suitable for both domestic hot water installations and smaller commercial systems. BSPT-R threaded connections (ISO 7-1) enable easy installation without additional adapters.
Horizontal mounting only
The filter must be mounted exclusively in a horizontal position — the flow direction is critical for the proper operation of the double-spiral technology. The installation length is 222 mm, and the housing height is 351 mm — dimensions are fixed and must be considered during mounting space planning.
