Control module for ventilation units – Rotenso RCU-AHUBOX-1C

This control module enables the integration of Rotenso inverter outdoor units with heat exchangers in ventilation units. This is an ideal solution for commercial buildings where precise control over the cooling and heating process is required. Compatible with units with a power output from 2.6 kW to 15.5 kW, the RCU-AHUBOX-1C module provides flexibility and energy efficiency.

Control is performed using a 0-10V voltage signal, allowing for smooth performance adjustment in the range of 0 to 100%. Equipped with a defrosting and alarm mode control output, the module ensures reliable system operation. Additionally, it allows switching between cooling and heating modes, adapting to current needs.

The RCU-AHUBOX-1C module works with a wide range of Rotenso outdoor units:

• “W” series: IMOTO I26W, I35W, I50W
• “X” series: IMOTO I26X, I35X, I50X, I70X and UNICO UO90X, UO100X, UO120X, UO140X, UO160X.

Application and functionality

This module is a key element in air conditioning and ventilation systems, allowing for effective use of Rotenso outdoor units in ventilation units. Thanks to precise performance control and the ability to switch operating modes, the system provides thermal comfort and optimal energy consumption. The 0-10V signal allows integration with existing building management systems (BMS), making it easier to manage the entire air conditioning process.

Installation and technical parameters

The module is characterized by compact dimensions (45x99x191.5 mm) and low weight (0.35 kg), which facilitates its installation in limited space. The IP54 protection class ensures resistance to weather conditions and dust. The module is powered from a 230V/50/60Hz network. Remember to use appropriate protection (15A/250V). The module has three cable glands.
