Roth Thermotank Quadroline TQ-P 325 is a buffer tank designed for efficient heat storage in heating systems, especially in systems with heat pumps. Its innovative design, based on a composite of plastic and aluminum reinforcement, sets it apart from traditional tanks. This is an ideal solution for both installers looking for lightweight and easy-to-install components, and end-users who value energy efficiency and durability.

The tank is distinguished primarily by its low weight – about one-third the weight of a comparable steel tank. This makes transport and installation easier, especially in hard-to-reach places such as attics or narrow corridors. This makes installation faster and less physically demanding.

Construction and functionality

The tank's design has been carefully thought out for maximum performance and versatility. Made of high-quality PE-RT plastic reinforced with fiberglass, it is corrosion-resistant and does not require a magnesium anode. The internal aluminum layer provides additional protection against diffusion. The outer layer is a removable hard EPS foam insulation, minimizing heat loss.

The tank has two immersion ports allowing the installation of up to four temperature sensors – their positions are variable, allowing optimal adaptation to the specifics of the installation. Two connections with a size of 1 1/4 inch facilitate integration with the existing heating system. The ability to use it as a flow tank (with two connections) increases its flexibility.
