MAPP Gas HPC – Efficient Heat Source for Soldering

MAPP Gas HPC is a special gas mixture created for professionals and demanding users who require a high flame temperature. It is ideal for both hard and soft soldering, and when combined with pure oxygen, it can also be used for flame cutting. It is an indispensable assistant during installation and service work.

Characteristics and application

This gas is distinguished by an extremely high flame temperature – up to 2700°C – which translates into exceptional combustion efficiency and reduced working time. Faster heating of elements saves time and energy. Excellent heat transfer makes MAPP HPC gas effective even at low ambient temperatures, below 0°C. It provides a stable flame in any position, which is especially important when working in hard-to-reach places or overhead (360°).

The 0.788-liter cylinder contains 0.9 kg of gas, guaranteeing long-lasting operation without frequent replacement. The one-piece aluminum construction – without additional seams – increases safety by minimizing the risk of leaks. Additionally, a solid valve and protective collar provide even greater comfort during work.

Construction and safety

The cylinder was designed with maximum safety in mind. Made from a single piece of aluminum (monoblock), it has no welds that could be potential weak points in the structure. Built-in check valves prevent gas backflow, further increasing safety during work. MAPP HPC gas is compatible with 7/16" EU standard torches, making it easy to use with existing equipment.
