The Rothenberger ROFROST pipe freezing kit using dry ice is an indispensable tool for installers and individuals performing maintenance and repair work on plumbing and heating systems. It allows you to freeze pipes without having to drain them, which significantly speeds up and simplifies the work. The kit is designed for pipes with a diameter of 10 to 60 mm, and thanks to the low temperature of -79°C, it ensures quick and effective freezing.

This freezer stands out for its versatility – it works perfectly with copper, steel, plastic and multilayer pipes. Thanks to the ability to work without access to electricity, it is ideal for use in places where access to electricity is limited or impossible. The use of dry ice as a refrigerant is environmentally friendly and safe for the environment, eliminating the need to use freons. This allows for effective freezing of pipes with a diameter of up to 2 inches using a single device.

Kit contents and readiness for work

The kit includes everything you need to get started: two handles with valves, two pressure hoses, as many as 10 pairs of freezing heads of different sizes, a one-sided freezing plug, a wrench, an Allen wrench and a T-distributor. The whole thing is packed in a durable carrying case, which facilitates storage and transport of the device. Please note that the kit does not include a carbon dioxide cylinder, which must be purchased separately. This ensures that you use the appropriate gas of the appropriate purity.
