The modular ROCAM mini HD inspection camera is a solution that combines high image resolution with the flexibility of the CAS wireless system. The device has been designed for precise diagnostics of sanitary installations in residential buildings, where rapid localization of the causes of blockages or leaks is crucial. Thanks to a 25 mm diameter probe and a 22 m long cable, the operator can effectively inspect pipes with diameters ranging from 40 to 110 mm, reaching even the farthest points of the installation in multi-story buildings. The optimized cable stiffness allows overcoming difficult obstacles – depending on the pipe diameter, the device can navigate through six 90° elbows (in 50 mm pipes) or three elbows (in 40 mm pipes), significantly reducing the need to dismantle installation components.

Image Quality and On-Site Analytical Functions

The key advantage of this kit is the ability to analyze collected data immediately without transferring files to a computer. The 7-inch display offers Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 px), enabling clear visualization of even minor damages, deposits, or cracks inside the pipe. The touchscreen responds to pressure, making the device intuitive to operate even while wearing work gloves. Importantly for professionals working in the field, the camera probe is waterproof up to a depth of 10 meters, protecting it against moisture typical of sewer systems.

The device features the ability to mark defects directly on the screen – you can highlight the location of a leak or blockage, creating a so-called damage catalog and accelerating subsequent reporting for the client. Data is saved to an SD card (up to 32 GB) in JPG format for photos and AVI for video recordings. Additionally, the built-in teletext generator and the ability to record audio (via Bluetooth headphones) allow for the creation of a complete inspection document with the operator's commentary.

Connectivity and Mobility of the CAS System

The ROCAM mini HD system utilizes wireless technology, eliminating limitations resulting from data cables between the control unit and the camera module. Thanks to compatibility with the Rothenberger App and the Wi-Fi module, the operator can transmit live video to the client's smartphone or tablet. This not only enhances the professionalism of the service but also allows the client to follow the inspection progress in real time and quickly understand the issue. Data can also be shared directly from the app, facilitating communication with other specialists or property managers.
