Features and application

The K60N series switch, with a rated current of 20A and C characteristic, is perfect for circuits exposed to short-term current surges, e.g. when starting motors or devices with heating elements. The C characteristic allows for momentary overloads without unnecessary tripping, which is particularly important for receivers with high inrush current. The rated voltage of 230V and the frequency range of 50-60Hz make it compatible with most electrical installations in Poland. The short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA guarantees effective protection against serious damage to the installation.

Construction and mounting

The switch is designed for easy and quick mounting on a DIN rail. It has double screw terminals at the bottom, allowing connection of both rigid wires (up to 35mm²) and flexible wires (up to 25mm²). Serrated terminals increase connection reliability, minimizing the risk of wires loosening. The snap-action contact ensures the independence of the contact closing speed from the speed of lever operation - this is important for quickly restoring power after removing the cause of the disconnection. Made of high-quality materials, it meets the EN/IEC 60898-1 standards and has OVE VDE certificates, confirming its safety and reliability. The IP20 degree of protection provides protection against accidental contact.
