iC60 Circuit Breakers – Reliable Protection for Electrical Installations

The iC60H-C3-1 circuit breaker is part of the iC60 series, designed to protect against the effects of overloads and short circuits in electrical circuits. This single-pole circuit breaker with a rated current of 3A is suitable for use in both domestic, commercial, and industrial installations. Its design based on IEC/EN 60947-2 and IEC/EN 60898-1 standards guarantees optimal safety and performance.

Characteristic C provides effective protection for circuits with inductive loads, such as motors or fluorescent lamps, allowing for short-term exceeding of the rated current without unnecessary tripping. Additionally, the VisiSafe indicator informs about the physical opening of the contacts, which increases safety during maintenance work.

Design and functionality

The iC60H-C3-1 circuit breaker has been designed with installers in mind. The ability to remove a single device without removing the busbar significantly speeds up service work. IP20 screw terminals provide a secure connection of wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² (solid) or from 1 to 16 mm² (stranded). Double terminals allow connection of wires from both the top and the bottom, which increases installation flexibility. Energy limitation class 3 provides adequate protection of the downstream circuit. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity Icu is as high as 70 kA at 230 V, which guarantees high reliability in the event of a serious failure.
