The C60H-DC-C32 miniature circuit breaker is an advanced solution for protecting DC installations within the Schneider Electric Acti9 system. The two-pole design with C tripping characteristic provides comprehensive protection against overload and short circuits in industrial and commercial applications.

Design and application

The device utilizes a delayed thermal tripping mechanism for overload protection at a rated current of 32A, and an electromagnetic trip unit with C characteristic for rapid response to short circuits. Mounting on a standard DIN rail allows for easy installation in modular distribution boards.

The design accommodates wire cross-sections of 1-35 mm² (single-core) or 1-25 mm² (multi-core), ensuring flexibility during installation. A mounting depth of 44 mm allows for compact arrangement in distribution boards.

Operating parameters and safety

The device operates at a rated voltage of 440V DC with 500V DC insulation. The rated breaking capacity is 20kA at 230V DC and 10kA at 400V DC, ensuring effective protection even during severe short circuits.

The IP20 protection rating protects against contact with live parts, and the device width is a standard 4 modules. An operating temperature from -25°C to +70°C enables use in harsh environmental conditions. Power loss is only 3.5W, which minimizes energy consumption.
