iC60N circuit breaker – reliable protection for electrical installations
This two-pole iC60N-B25-2 circuit breaker with a rated current of 25A is a protective element for electrical installations against the effects of overloads and short circuits. Designed for use in residential, commercial and industrial applications, it meets the requirements of IEC/EN 60947-2 and IEC/EN 60898-1 standards. Its design and functionality ensure safety and facilitate installation and diagnostics.
Functionality and design features
The iC60N circuit breaker is characterized by high quality workmanship and a well-thought-out design. Thanks to the possibility of connecting two wires of different cross-sections, the installation is more flexible. The VisiTrip indicator, signaling electrical tripping (red color), allows for quick identification of the cause of the failure and shortens repair time. Additionally, the removal of a single device is possible without removing the busbar, which greatly facilitates maintenance work. Mounting on a DIN rail is done without tools. Energy limitation class 3 provides optimal cost of downstream circuit protection.
Application and technical parameters
This circuit breaker is used in circuits with a rated voltage of 400V and a frequency of 50-60Hz. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (Icn) is 6kA at 230V and 6kA at 400V, and the Icu capacity reaches up to 20kA at 230V and 10kA at 400V. Characteristic B ensures fast tripping in case of overloads, which is particularly important in circuits with resistive loads or low starting currents. Protection degree IP20 guarantees protection against accidental contact. The cross-section of solid wires can range from 1 to 25 mm², and stranded wires from 1 to 16 mm². The ambient operating temperature is in the range of -35°C to +70°C. The rated impulse withstand voltage (Uimp) is as high as 6kV, which increases resistance to overvoltages.
