iC60H circuit breaker – reliable installation protection

This two-pole iC60H circuit breaker with a rated current of 2A and C characteristic is a key element ensuring safety in every electrical installation. The use of characteristic C makes it ideal for circuits with devices generating inrush currents, such as motors or transformers. It protects the circuit against overload and short circuit – like most circuit breakers in this class, but stands out with additional features that facilitate diagnostics and installation.

Functionality and ease of use

The iC60H circuit breaker has been designed with the convenience of both installers and end-users in mind. The ability to directly connect wires of different cross-sections simplifies installation, and the Visi-Trip optical indicator (white-red) immediately informs about the tripping of the circuit breaker due to a disturbance. This allows for quick identification of the problem and reduced repair time. Additionally, the removal of a single circuit breaker is done without the need to remove the busbar, which significantly speeds up service work. The circuit breaker can be easily removed from the DIN rail without the use of additional tools.

Technical parameters and application

The iC60H circuit breaker is characterized by a high short-circuit breaking capacity – 70 kA at 400V and 10 kA at 230V (according to EN 60898 standard). Its energy limitation class is 3, which means it effectively limits the effects of short circuits. Designed to operate at temperatures from -35°C to 70°C, it meets the requirements of IEC/EN 60947-2 and IEC/EN 60898-1 standards. The width of the circuit breaker is 2 modules, and the cross-section of the connectable solid wires is from 1 to 25 mm², while stranded wires are from 1 to 16 mm². The rated voltage is 400V, and the rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp is as high as 6 kV. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against touch.
