Central plate for data outlets – solid connection and aesthetics

The Schneider Electric central plate from the Sedna Design & Elements series is a fitting element designed for flush mounting of data outlets. It enables aesthetic and functional connection of two RJ45 ports in 5e-6 UTP standard, compatible with AMP, KELINE and MOLEX inserts. Made of high-quality thermoplastic material, the product is characterized by durability and resistance to UV radiation. The white color of the plate ensures versatility and ease of matching to various interior designs.

The Sedna Design & Elements central plate is not only a functional but also an aesthetic element. Its glossy surface finish adds elegance to the installation, and its compact dimensions (73 x 73 x 23 mm) allow for discreet mounting in a flush-mounted box. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against touch and contamination.

Mounting and compatibility

The plate is mounted using claws or screws, which simplifies and speeds up installation. It should be noted that Sedna Design & Elements products are not compatible with the Sedna series – this is an important distinction when planning the installation. The plate is intended for data connection boxes, offering a solid foundation for reliable data transmission. The halogen-free material of construction increases safety, minimizing the risk of toxic gases forming in the event of a fire.

The use of screwless terminals in Sedna mechanisms (in other products from the series) greatly simplifies the process of connecting wires, saving time and ensuring a secure connection. The positioning system further facilitates the mounting of multiple frames, guaranteeing an aesthetic appearance of the installation.
