Central plate for data outlets – reliability and aesthetics in one

The Schneider Electric central plate from the Sedna Design & Elements series is a fitting element designed for mounting RJ45 cat. 5e and 6 UTP outlets. The product is dedicated to both professional installers and end-users who appreciate functionality and aesthetic design. Made of high-quality thermoplastic material, it is characterized by durability and resistance to external factors. The plate is compatible with KRONE inserts, ensuring easy and quick installation.

Construction and mounting

The central plate is designed for flush mounting, providing an aesthetic look of the installation. Solid claws with a self-return function guarantee stable and secure seating in the installation box. The dimensions of the plate (73 mm x 73 mm x 23 mm) allow it to be used in standard flush-mounted boxes. The surface finish is glossy, and the beige color (RAL 1013) allows it to be matched to various interior designs. Important: Sedna Design & Elements products are not compatible with the Sedna series!

Safety and compliance with standards

The plate has an IP20 degree of protection, which means protection against touching a foreign body with a diameter greater than 12.5 mm and against water ingress. The material from which the plate is made is halogen-free, which increases safety and minimizes the emission of harmful substances in the event of a fire. Impact resistance is IK02 – basic protection against mechanical damage. The product meets the safety and quality requirements applicable in the electrical installation industry.
