iC60 circuit breakers – reliable installation protection

The iC60H-B25-3 circuit breaker is a three-pole model with a rated current of 25A, designed to protect electrical circuits against overloads and short circuits. It is part of the iC60 series, which combines high protection efficiency with ease of installation and operation. The device finds application in both residential, commercial, and industrial installations.

This circuit breaker stands out with its unique VisiTrip indicator, which informs about the cause of tripping – whether it occurred due to a disturbance (red color). Additionally, the VisiSafe indicator signals the physical opening of the contacts (green color), which ensures safety during maintenance or repair work on the circuit. The circuit breaker design allows for the removal of a single device without the need to remove the busbar, which significantly simplifies and speeds up installation work.

Application and design features

The iC60H-B25-3 is characterized by energy limitation class 3, which affects the optimization of protection costs for the downstream circuit. Its B characteristic ensures fast tripping during overloads, which is particularly important for resistive loads such as lighting or household appliances. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (Icn) is 10 kA at 230 V and 10 kA at 400 V, and the Icu capacity reaches 15 kA at 400 V and up to 30 kA at 230 V – guaranteeing effective protection even in the event of high short-circuit currents.

This circuit breaker offers a wide range of wire connection possibilities – from 1 mm² to 25 mm² for solid conductors and from 1 mm² to 16 mm² for stranded conductors. Mounting is done on a standard DIN rail, and the device width is only 3 modules. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against accidental contact. The device is adapted to operate at ambient temperatures from -35°C to 70°C and at frequencies from 50 to 60 Hz. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 500V and the rated voltage is 400V.
