Functionality and Installation

The iC60H-B6-3 circuit breaker is characterized by easy mounting on a DIN rail. The ability to remove a single device without removing the entire busbar significantly speeds up installation work. In addition, the circuit breaker can be removed from the rail without tools, which is particularly useful during servicing or replacement. Double terminals allow connection of wires with different cross-sections (from 1 to 25 mm² for solid and from 1 to 16 mm² for stranded), which increases the flexibility of the installation. Energy limitation class 3 makes it an economical solution for protecting downstream circuits.

Safety and Diagnostics

Equipped with an innovative VisiTrip indicator, the circuit breaker signals the activation of the electrical release (red color), making it easier to quickly identify the cause of the failure. The VisiSafe indicator informs about the physical opening of the contacts (green color), which allows for safe carrying out of maintenance work in the downstream circuit. Characteristic B ensures a quick response to current increase, protecting against damage caused by short-term overloads – ideal for circuits with devices with high power consumption at start-up. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity Icn is 10 kA at 230V and 10 kA at 400V, and Icu reaches 30 kA (230V) and 15 kA (400V) respectively, which guarantees effective protection in the event of serious disturbances in the network.
