Circuit Breakers iC60 – Reliable Installation Protection

This three-pole iC60H-D63-3 circuit breaker with a rated current of 63A is an element that will find application in both home, commercial and industrial installations. It provides effective protection against the effects of overloads and short circuits, guaranteeing safety of use and longer life of connected devices. The iC60H circuit breaker is characterized by versatility – the possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1 to 35 mm² (solid) or from 1 to 25 mm² (stranded) facilitates installation and adaptation to the existing installation. Additionally, the VisiTrip indicator informs about the tripping of the breaker caused by a disturbance (red color), which greatly facilitates diagnosis of the problem and shortens repair time. The use of characteristic D makes the breaker cope well with loads with high inrush currents, such as motors or devices with impulse power supplies.

Functionality and safety in one

The iC60 series is a comprehensive solution for electrical protection. Equipped with a double locking mechanism, it allows removal without disconnecting the busbar, which significantly simplifies maintenance work. The VisiSafe indicator signals open contacts (green color), ensuring safety during service work in the downstream circuit. The circuit breaker has a protection degree of IP20, which means protection against touching with a finger and solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. Its compact dimensions – width 3 modules and embedding depth 44.5 mm – allow for easy mounting in electrical switchboards.

The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (Icn) is 10 kA at 230 V and 400 V, and the Icu capacity reaches even 30 kA at 230 V and 15 kA at 400 V, which guarantees effective protection of the installation in the event of a short circuit. Power losses are only 5.6 W, which translates into energy savings. The circuit breaker is adapted to work in a wide range of ambient temperatures (-35°C to +70°C) and frequencies (50-60 Hz).
