The B release characteristic means that the circuit breaker will operate quickly at 3-5 times the rated current. This makes it ideal for protecting circuits with resistive loads (e.g. lighting) and devices with low starting current (e.g. refrigerators). The rated short-circuit breaking capacity Icn is 10kA at 230V and 10kA at 400V, and Icu is 30kA at 230V and 15kA at 400V – providing effective protection in the event of a short circuit. The circuit breaker operates in the frequency range of 50-60 Hz and is adapted to work at temperatures from -35°C to +70°C. The degree of protection IP20 protects against finger contact and the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The width of the device is 4 modules (72 mm).
