iC60N circuit breakers – reliable protection for electrical installations

This four-pole iC60N-C16-4 circuit breaker with a rated current of 16A is a protective element for electrical installations against the effects of overloads and short circuits. Designed for use in residential, commercial and industrial buildings, it provides comprehensive circuit protection. Its construction based on proven Schneider Electric technology guarantees reliability and long-term operation.

This circuit breaker is characterized by a high short-circuit breaking capacity of 6kA at 230V and 10kA at 400V (according to EN 60898 and IEC 60947-2 standards), making it effective in the event of sudden overvoltages. Energy limitation class 3 further increases the safety of the installation. Thanks to its C characteristic, the circuit breaker reacts with a delay to short-term current surges, which is particularly important when connecting devices with motors or other inductive loads – this prevents unnecessary tripping.

The circuit breaker is easy and intuitive to install, and the ability to remove a single device without removing the busbar significantly facilitates maintenance and service work. In addition, the circuit breaker has double terminals allowing the connection of wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² (solid) or from 1 to 16 mm² (stranded). The VisiTrip indicator informs about the cause of the circuit breaker tripping – a red color indicates tripping caused by a fault.
