Acti9 iSD signaling contact – reliable trip indication
This Acti9 iSD modular signaling contact is a practical solution for remote monitoring of the tripping status of protective devices in an electrical installation. It enables quick identification of problems and reduces response time in the event of a failure, which translates to increased safety and system reliability. This is particularly important in commercial facilities and residential buildings where continuous power supply is critical.
Versatile application and easy installation
The signaling contact is compatible with residual current circuit breakers with overcurrent release and overcurrent circuit breakers, ensuring a wide range of applications. Mounting is on a DIN rail, and connections are made using screw terminals located at the top of the device. The ability to connect both rigid and flexible wires with a cross-section from 0.5mm² to 4mm² provides flexibility during installation.
Key features and benefits:
- Trip indicator: Serves as a remote trip indicator in the event of a fault with the associated device, making it easier to locate the problem.
- Universal voltage: Operates in both AC and DC circuits, increasing its usefulness in various applications.
- Contact configuration: Has 1 changeover contact (1 CO) which can be configured as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) – adapting to the needs of a specific installation.
- Compact dimensions: A width of only 9 mm allows for efficient use of space in the switchgear cabinet.
- Compliance with standards: Meets the requirements of EN/IEC 60947-5-1 and GB/T 14048.5 standards, guaranteeing safety and reliability.
- Durability: Designed to operate in a wide temperature range (from -35°C to +70°C) and has an IP20 degree of protection.
Technical specifications:
The signaling contact is designed to work with devices with a rated current of up to 63A. It has a rated voltage of 240V AC/DC and an insulation voltage Ui of up to 500V. The rated switching current is 0.1A, ensuring proper operation in typical applications. The device has one fault signaling contact and does not have a differential current self-test.
