Acti9 shunt trip with MX+OF-12/24 1CO 1224 V AC/DC auxiliary contact A9N26948
Acti9 MX+OF electric shunt trip for professional installations
This compact Acti9 MX+OF shunt trip is an advanced solution for controlling and monitoring the position of circuit breakers in modern electrical installations. The device combines the function of an electric shunt trip with an auxiliary open/close contact, providing comprehensive control over electrical protection systems.
Design and system compatibility
The trip unit is designed as a single-slot module with a width of 18 mm (1 module), allowing for efficient space management in modular distribution boards. The device is dedicated to working with a wide range of Schneider Electric circuit breakers, including the C60, C120, DPN, DPN Vigi series, as well as DC versions such as C60H-DC, SW60-DC, C60PV-DC, C60NA-DC, and C120NA.
The design includes OF changeover contacts (open/close) that precisely indicate the current position of the main circuit breaker. The system enables emergency shutdown via a normally open button and provides remote status indication of the associated device—a key function for monitoring systems and building automation.
Operating parameters and technical capabilities
The device operates within a wide range of control voltages of 12-24V AC/DC at frequencies of 50/60 Hz. The rated operational voltage is 24V, and the operating current adapts to the specific voltage: at DC voltage, it reaches 6A at 24VDC, while at AC voltage, it can operate with a current of 6A in the 24-240VAC range.
The system supports a maximum main contact current of up to 125A and allows for a configuration of up to 4 main contacts in total. The operating temperature ranges from -25°C to +50°C, and the storage temperature from -40°C to +85°C, guaranteeing stable operation in various environmental conditions.
Safety and regulatory compliance
The trip unit meets the requirements of the international standard IEC/EN 60947-5-1, confirming the highest standards of safety and reliability. The product holds certifications from renowned testing institutions such as ASEFA, ASTA, KEMA, and LCIE.
The device is part of the Schneider Electric eco-program—the Green Premium label guarantees compliance with the latest environmental regulations and transparency regarding environmental impact. The design accounts for a relative humidity of up to 95% at 55°C, ensuring resistance to harsh environmental conditions typical for industrial and building installations.
A red mechanical status indicator on the front panel enables quick diagnostics of the device status without the need for disassembly or the use of additional measuring tools.
