Acti9 auxiliary and signaling contact – a versatile solution for your installation

This modular Acti9 auxiliary and signaling contact, offering a 2-changeover (2 CO) configuration, is a reliable tool for expanding the functionality of residual current devices (RCDs) and overcurrent devices. It allows you to add additional auxiliary or signaling circuits without having to replace the entire device. This saves time and costs, especially when modernizing existing installations.

Functionality and application

This contact combines the functions of an auxiliary contact and a signaling contact, providing great flexibility in choosing a solution. The ability to set one of the contacts as auxiliary or signaling allows you to tailor the device to specific application needs. It is ideal for use in small commercial facilities and residential buildings where monitoring the circuit status or remote control of devices is required. Thanks to its compatibility with both RCDs with overcurrent protection and overcurrent devices, it is a universal solution for many types of installations.

Construction and mounting

The module is only 0.5 modules wide, allowing for easy mounting on a DIN rail inside the distribution board. Screw terminals (top and bottom) allow connection of copper wires with a cross-section from 0.5 mm² to 2.5 mm² (rigid) and flexible wires with a cross-section of 1.5 mm² with a ferrule. The robust construction ensures reliable operation even in harsh environmental conditions (operating temperature: -25°C to +50°C). The product meets EN/IEC 60947-5-1 and GB/T 14048.5 standards and has CE, UKCA, EAC and CCC certificates, guaranteeing its safety and compliance with applicable regulations. The rated operating current is 0.1A at a rated voltage of 240V AC/DC.
