Professional fuse-switch disconnector for switchgear

The FuPacT ISFL250 busbar-type fuse-switch disconnector is an advanced protective device designed for installation in electrical switchgear. Model LV480856, equipped with an M12 screw connection, provides reliable installation protection at a rated current of 250A and an operating voltage of up to 690V AC.

The device belongs to the FuPacT family – high-performance fuse-switch disconnectors with a vertical design and a modular system. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it does not require additional space for the installation of current transformers, which simplifies switchgear design.

Construction and technical parameters

The disconnector is designed as a 3-pole single-break device with the possibility of mounting one above the other. The enclosure provides an IP20 protection class and IK07 mechanical impact resistance. The vertical construction allows for optimal use of space within the switchgear.

Electrical parameters include a rated continuous current of 250A at various voltages depending on the utilization category: AC21B (690V), AC22B (500V), and AC23B (415V). The device withstands a prospective short-circuit current of 120kA and a short-time withstand current of 15kA for 1 second.

The operating temperature range is from -20°C to +70°C, and the insulation withstands a test voltage of 8kV. The maximum power loss per pole is 32W, and a single fuse link generates a power loss of 23W.

Installation and electrical connections

The device is mounted directly onto busbars with a width of 185mm or via hook connectors. The bottom side allows for an M12 screw connection for conductors with a current up to 250A, while the top part is designed for direct busbar connection.

The tightening torque for screw connections is 40Nm, which guarantees secure contact of the conducting elements. The hook system allows for power distribution from both the top and bottom sides, and their rotation allows for flexible installation configuration.

The disconnector is equipped with fuse link holders and the possibility of locking with three padlocks to ensure safety during service work. The device dimensions are: height 741mm, width 100mm, depth 190mm, and the total mass is 4.7kg.

Normative compliance and certificates

The product meets the requirements of European and international standards: EN/IEC 60947-1, EN/IEC 60947-3, and the IEC 60269-2-1 standard for fuse links. It holds CE, CCC, and EAC conformity certificates, enabling legal sale in the European, Chinese, and Eurasian markets.

The device is adapted for AC networks with a frequency of 50/60Hz and meets pollution degree 3 requirements according to IEC 60947. The electrical shock protection class is II for the front part of the enclosure.

The fuse link status monitoring system provides separate signaling for each phase, allowing for rapid identification of damaged protective elements without the need to disassemble the device cover.
