Purpose and functionality

The "light" button from the Sedna Design & Elements series by Schneider Electric is an electrical installation accessory designed for flush mounting. It features an elegant black anthracite finish, allowing it to be matched to modern interiors. The device is used to control lighting or other electrical devices with a maximum load of 10 A, and can also function as a doorbell button. Thanks to its IP44 protection rating, it is moisture resistant, enabling its use in rooms exposed to water contact, such as bathrooms or kitchens.

Construction and mounting

The button is made of durable thermoplastic material, resistant to UV radiation, which ensures its durability and aesthetic appearance for a long time. Compact dimensions (73 mm wide and high, 37 mm deep) facilitate mounting in standard flush-mount boxes with a minimum depth of 40 mm. Mounting is done using claws or screws, ensuring stable and secure positioning of the device. Screwless terminals significantly simplify and speed up the process of connecting wires, eliminating the need for tools.

Safety and compliance with standards

The product meets high safety standards, confirmed by its halogen-free construction and rated voltage of 250 V. It has an impact resistance of IK02 and a protection rating of IP44, guaranteeing safe use in various conditions. It should be noted that Sedna Design & Elements products are not compatible with the Sedna series - it is important to use elements from the same line to maintain the visual and functional consistency of the installation.
