Purpose and characteristics

Single-pole button with "light" marking is an element from the Sedna Design & Elements series by Schneider Electric, designed for flush mounting. Finished in an elegant anthracite black color, it perfectly fits into modern interior designs. This product combines functionality and aesthetics, offering reliable control of lighting or other electrical devices. Designed for ease of installation and use, it is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end users.

Construction and mounting

The button is made of durable thermoplastic material, resistant to UV radiation, which guarantees durability and color retention over time. Compact dimensions (73 mm wide and high, 37 mm deep) allow for easy mounting in standard flush-mount boxes with a minimum depth of 40 mm. Solid claws with a self-return function ensure stable and secure mounting. Screwless terminals facilitate quick and reliable connection of wires, eliminating the need for tools. The rated current of the button is 10 A at 250 V, allowing control of loads up to 2300 W. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against contact and ingress of solid objects.

Functionality and compatibility

The button can function as a traditional light switch (in combination with an impulse relay), doorbell button or be used to switch on other electrical devices. Please note that Sedna Design & Elements series products are not compatible with the earlier Sedna series – frames and mechanisms must come from the same product line. Thanks to the wide range of Sedna Design and Sedna Elements frames, it is possible to create 91 different stylistic combinations, tailored to individual preferences and the character of the interior. Additionally, the series offers the possibility of integration with the Wiser Smart Home system, enabling remote control of devices using a mobile application.
