Purpose and characteristics

Single-pole switch with "light" marking is an element from the Sedna Design & Elements series by Schneider Electric, designed for flush mounting. It is a practical and aesthetic solution for controlling lighting, but can also be used in other applications requiring simple switching of circuits with a maximum current of 10A. Finished in glossy beige, the button fits perfectly into modern interior designs.

Construction and mounting

Made of durable thermoplastic material, resistant to UV radiation, the button is characterized by a solid construction and ease of installation. Screwless terminals significantly simplify and speed up the connection of wires, and solid claws with a self-return function ensure stable seating in the installation box. Compact dimensions (73 x 73 x 37 mm) allow installation even in limited space - the minimum depth of the mounting box is 40 mm. It is worth remembering that Sedna Design & Elements products are not compatible with the Sedna series.

Functionality and safety

The button has a protection degree of IP20, which means protection against touching with a finger and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. The halogen-free material of manufacture increases safety, minimizing the risk of toxic gases forming in the event of a fire. Thanks to a clear connection diagram on the mechanism, identification of the terminals is quick and intuitive. Additionally, easy access to the contacts allows tests and measurements to be carried out without having to remove the device from the installation box. The button meets the rated voltage standard of 250V.
