The Thorsman cable tie with dimensions 250×4.8 mm is a tool for bundling and fastening wires in electrical and telecommunication installations. Made of polyamide PA 6.6 with internal serrations, it enables secure fastening thanks to a self-locking mechanism for cable bundles with a diameter from 3.5 mm to 65 mm. Smooth, rounded edges facilitate installation and protect against damage to wire insulation.

The self-locking design allows for fast and secure fastening without additional tools. The curved, rounded tip facilitates pulling through the tie head during installation.

Operating parameters and safety

The product maintains full functionality in extreme temperature conditions - from -40°C to +85°C during operation and from -20°C to +85°C during installation. A tensile strength of 230N guarantees a durable connection even under mechanical loads.

The material meets the requirements of the UL94 V2 standard, ensuring resistance to flame spread - class V2 signifies the self-extinguishing properties of the insulating material. UL and VG certificates confirm compliance with international safety standards.

Construction and materials

The tie is made of UV-stabilized polyamide PA 6.6, which ensures long-term resistance to ultraviolet radiation according to the ASTM D6779 standard. The black color remains stable even under prolonged solar exposure.

The head is made of plastic, and the surface remains in a raw state without additional protective coatings. A strap thickness of 1.3 mm provides mechanical strength while maintaining installation flexibility.
