The Easypact CVS160F circuit breaker is a reliable solution for protecting electrical installations, designed for both professionals and end-users. This 4-pole (4P) fixed circuit breaker (4D) with a rated current of 125A provides effective protection against overloads and short circuits in commercial and residential buildings. Equipped with a thermal-magnetic trip unit (TMD), it offers adjustable thermal and magnetic protection, adapting to the specific needs of the installation.

Functionality and safety

The CVS160F circuit breaker is characterized by a high short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu) of 36kA at 400V AC, which translates to increased safety and reliability. The design with rotating main contacts limits short-circuit currents, protecting both the circuit breaker itself and the other elements of the installation. This makes the device more resistant to damage and has a longer lifespan. Additionally, it has 4 normally closed (NC) auxiliary contacts and 4 normally open (NO) auxiliary contacts, which increases its functionality and allows integration with control systems.

Installation and compatibility

The circuit breaker is designed for plate mounting (fixed device), which simplifies its installation in distribution boards. Its compact dimensions make it ideal for use in space-constrained locations. It should be noted that it is not intended for mounting on TH/DIN rails. The circuit breaker has bolted connections for the main contacts, ensuring a solid and secure connection of the wires. The IP40 degree of protection guarantees protection against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1mm. The rated continuous current (Iu) is 160A and the overload trip setting range is 87.5 - 125A. Power losses are 10.78W.
