Contactor D 3P AC3-32A, N/O+N/C, 48V 50/60Hz LC1D32E7

Electromagnetic Contactor – Reliable Motor Control

This three-pole LC1D32E7 contactor from Schneider Electric is a key component in motor control systems. Designed to operate with loads up to 32A at 400V AC-3, it provides reliable switching of electrical circuits. It finds wide application in industrial plants, public buildings, and home installations.

Construction and operating parameters

The contactor is characterized by a compact design (45 mm wide, 85 mm high, and 92 mm deep) allowing mounting on a DIN rail or by screws. It has three main normally open contacts and one auxiliary normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC) contact, which increases its functionality and flexibility in various applications. The rated operating power for AC-3 at 400V is 15 kW, and for AC-4 – 7.5 kW, making it suitable for controlling various motors. The rated operating current Ie for AC-3 at 400V is 32A, and for AC-1 – 50A. The contactor coil operates at 48V AC (50/60Hz).

Safety and compliance with standards

The TeSys D contactor meets stringent safety standards, including IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, and Marine. It has a Green Premium certificate, which guarantees compliance with environmental protection regulations (RoHS/REACh) and transparency of information about environmental impact. Compliance with IEC 60335-1 increases resistance to fire and dust, which is particularly important in demanding working conditions. Built-in auxiliary contacts in a mirrored configuration (NO+NC) allow direct use of the contactor in safety circuits in accordance with IEC standards. Auxiliary contacts are adapted to signals with a minimum current of 1 mA, allowing them to be connected directly to PLCs.

Benefits of use

  • High mechanical endurance: up to 15 million switching cycles and the ability to operate at speeds up to 3600 cycles per hour ensure long-lasting and reliable operation.
  • Simple selection: Short catalog number containing the rated current facilitates identification and ordering of the appropriate model.
  • Digital documentation: Access to electronic documentation by scanning the QR code facilitates installation and servicing.
  • Wide application: Possibility of use in various industries: plants and machinery, buildings, water and sewage management, mining and others.
  • Easy installation: Multi-standard screws facilitate mounting and connection of wires.
  • Sustainable development: Green Premium certificate guarantees compliance with environmental protection regulations and low environmental impact.
  • Contact execution: Power contacts made of silver alloy ensure good electrical conductivity and durability.
