The Schneider Electric Sedna Design & Elements series double button is an electrical installation accessory that combines aesthetics and functionality. Made of high-quality thermoplastic material in silver aluminum color, it fits perfectly into modern interior designs. The product is designed for flush mounting and provides convenient control of lighting or other electrical devices. Please note that the Sedna Design & Elements series is not compatible with the earlier Sedna series.

Construction and installation

The button's design is designed for easy and quick installation. Solid claws with a self-return function ensure a perfect fit to the installation box, and screwless terminals allow for trouble-free connection of wires. Compact dimensions (73 mm wide, 73 mm high and 37 mm deep) allow installation even in limited space – the minimum depth of the mounting box is 40 mm. Additionally, access to the contacts is easy and safe, which facilitates testing and measurements without the need to disassemble the device.

Safety and technical parameters

The button is characterized by a high level of safety – it has an IP20 protection degree, which means protection against touching with fingers and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm. Made of halogen-free materials, it meets safety standards and is resistant to UV radiation. Designed to operate at a rated voltage of 250 V and a rated current of 10 A, it allows for safe control of circuits with a power of up to 2300 W. C characteristic allows it to react slower to short current surges, therefore it tolerates starting devices with a motor well. It protects the circuit against overload and short circuit — like most circuit breakers in this class.
