The PowerLogic A9MEM2455 energy meter is an advanced measuring device designed for monitoring energy consumption in single-phase installations. Designed for professional applications in commercial and industrial buildings, it offers high measurement accuracy and full integration with energy management systems.
Precise measurement and regulatory compliance
The device provides accuracy class B according to EN 50470-3 and accuracy class for active energy according to IEC 62053-21, guaranteeing the highest measurement precision in billing applications. It measures active and reactive power, active and reactive energy, voltage, and current at a frequency of 45...65 Hz.
The rated current of 100A enables direct measurement of loads up to this level without the need for external current transformers at a supply voltage of 230V. The device performs 32 samples per cycle, ensuring high measurement resolution and accurate reproduction of the load profile.
Advanced communication and system integration
The Modbus RTU interface allows for easy integration with building automation and energy management systems via the RS485 bus without the need for additional communication ports. The ability to switch between 2 tariffs via the communication bus allows for energy cost optimization.
The LCD display with 7-digit resolution presenting electrical parameters ensures a legible reading of measured energy quantities and the device status, signaled by a red LED.
Compact design, mounting, and certificates
The device width is only 35.8 mm (2 DIN modules), allowing for space savings in electrical switchboards with a mounting depth of 63 mm. Mounting on a standard DIN rail ensures quick installation and easy access to configuration parameters with an IP20/NEMA 4X protection rating.
An operating temperature from -25°C to +55°C and relative humidity up to 95% enable operation in harsh industrial conditions with a maximum power consumption of 1 VA. The meter is fully legalized in accordance with the Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) and meets the requirements of European standards EN 50470-3 class B, confirmed by the CE certificate.
The S0 type pulse output with an adjustable range from 0.01 to 10000 pulses/kWh/kvarh enables integration with external energy monitoring systems or building automation for the purpose of splitting energy consumption costs between users or building zones at an output voltage of 5...27 V DC@100 mA.
