Functionality and design features

The circuit breaker is characterized by a B characteristic, which means it reacts quickly to current increases – it trips after 3-5 times the rated current. This makes it ideal for protecting circuits with resistive loads, such as lighting or household appliances. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu) is 15kA at 230V, and the Icn capacity according to EN 60898 is 10kA – this ensures high reliability in the event of a failure. The VisiTrip indicator, signaling the breaker's operation in red, makes it easy to quickly identify a faulty circuit. Additionally, the VisiSafe indicator informs about the physical opening of the contacts (green color), which increases safety during maintenance work.

Installation and application

The iC60H-B25-1 circuit breaker is designed for mounting on a DIN rail and occupies a width of one module (18mm). The ability to remove a single device without removing the busbar and easy mounting without tools significantly speed up the installation process. A wide range of operating temperatures (-35°C to +70°C) allows it to be used in various environmental conditions. The cross-section of the connected solid wire is 1…25 mm², and the stranded wire is 1…16 mm², which provides great flexibility in wire selection.
