Circuit breakers iC60 – reliable installation protection

The iC60H-C13-1 circuit breaker is part of the iC60 series, designed to protect electrical installations from the effects of overloads and short circuits. The device with a rated current of 13A and a C characteristic is perfect for use in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Its compact design (1 module wide) allows for efficient use of space in the switchboard.

This single-pole circuit breaker provides effective protection for circuits with a voltage of 230V, and its short-circuit breaking capacity of up to 15kA (at 230V) guarantees safety in the event of a failure. The circuit breaker design allows for connection of conductors with a cross-section from 1 to 16 mm² (multi-strand) and from 1 to 25 mm² (solid core), providing flexibility during installation. Designed to operate at temperatures from -35°C to 70°C, it is resistant to changing environmental conditions.

Functionality and ease of use

The iC60 series is distinguished by a number of features that facilitate installation and diagnostics. The VisiTrip indicator signals the tripping of the circuit breaker caused by an overload or short circuit – the red color allows for quick identification of the faulty circuit. In addition, the double locking mechanism allows the circuit breaker to be removed without disconnecting the busbar, which significantly speeds up service work. The ability to mount additional accessories, such as release and auxiliary contacts, allows you to expand the functionality of the device and adapt it to the specific needs of the installation. It is also worth mentioning the VisiSafe indicator informing about the opening of the contacts – this increases safety during maintenance work.

Compliance with standards and technical parameters

The circuit breaker meets the requirements of IEC/EN 60947-2 and IEC/EN 60898-1 standards, confirming its high quality and reliability. Energy limitation class 3 provides optimal cost of protection of the downstream circuit. The rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp is 6kV, and the rated insulation voltage Ui is 500V. The degree of protection IP20 guarantees protection against accidental contact. The device operates in the frequency range of 50-60Hz and has overvoltage category IV. Power losses are only 2.3W, which translates into energy savings.
