The iC60H-C25-3 circuit breaker is a three-pole element used to protect electrical circuits against overloads and short circuits. It is a key component in every installation, both in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. This circuit breaker from the iC60 series stands out for the possibility of directly connecting wires of different cross-sections, which facilitates installation and adaptation to various installation conditions. The Visi-Trip indicator allows for quick identification of electrical tripping (red color), which significantly shortens the time of diagnosis and repair of failures. Additionally, the removal of a single device is possible without removing the busbar, and removal from the DIN rail is done without tools – this improvement will be appreciated by installers. Energy limitation class 3 ensures optimal cost of protecting the downstream circuit.

Construction and functionality

The iC60H-C25-3 circuit breaker has been designed with ease of use and safety in mind. It has double terminals for connecting wires from above or below, and insulated screw terminals guarantee IP20 protection. A large area for circuit marking facilitates identification of the protected circuit. The VisiSafe indicator informs about the opening of the contacts (green color), allowing for safe performance of maintenance work. Characteristic C provides an appropriate response to surge currents, typical for devices with motors or other inductive loads. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity Icn is 10 kA at 230V and 10 kA at 400V, and Icu is 30 kA (230V) and 15 kA (400V) respectively.

iC60 circuit breakers are used in a wide range of electrical installations – from housing estates, through commercial properties, to industrial buildings. They meet the requirements of IEC/EN 60947-2 and IEC/EN 60898-1 standards, which guarantees their compliance with applicable safety standards. The ambient temperature in operating conditions is from -35°C to 70°C, and the frequency range is 50-60 Hz. The circuit breaker is made of environmentally friendly materials (REACH and RoHS declarations) and has packaging from recycled materials. The cross-section of the connected solid wire is 1…25 mm², and stranded wire – 1…16 mm².
