Circuit Breakers iC60N – Reliable Installation Protection

The iC60N-C32-3N circuit breaker is a three-pole (3P) protective element designed to protect electrical circuits against the effects of overloads and short circuits. A rated current of 32A combined with characteristic C makes it an ideal solution for installations with inductive loads, such as motors or transformers. The device complies with IEC/EN 60947-2 and IEC/EN 60898-1 standards, guaranteeing its safety and reliability.

This circuit breaker stands out from the competition with a number of practical solutions that facilitate both installation and operation. The possibility of directly connecting wires with a cross-section from 1 to 35 mm² (solid) or from 1 to 25 mm² (stranded) provides flexibility in wire selection. Additionally, the removal of a single circuit breaker is done without the need to remove the busbar, which significantly reduces working time during maintenance or modernization of the installation.

Functionality and safety in one device

The iC60N-C32-3N has a VisiTrip indicator, which informs about the tripping of the circuit breaker caused by an overload or short circuit – a color change to red facilitates quick identification of the faulty circuit. The VisiSafe indicator, on the other hand, signals the state of the contacts, ensuring safety during maintenance work. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (Icn) is as high as 6 kA at 400 V and 230 V, and the Icu capacity reaches even 10 kA at 400 V and 20 kA at 230 V – this guarantees effective protection even in the event of serious disturbances in the network. The energy limitation class is 3, which means good protection against the effects of electric arc.

This circuit breaker is also characterized by high resistance to environmental conditions – it can operate in an ambient temperature from -35°C to +70°C. The degree of protection IP20 provides protection against accidental contact. Power losses are only 2.8 W, which translates into energy savings. The width of the device is 4 modules, which allows for efficient use of space in the switchgear. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 500V and the rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp is as high as 6kV.
