TeSys GV2 motor starters – reliable protection and control
The GV2ME10 motor starter is part of the TeSys series from Schneider Electric, designed to protect electric motors from overload and short circuit. The device combines the functions of a circuit breaker, control and protection, providing a comprehensive solution for installers and end users. Designed to operate in AC networks with a rated voltage of 230 to 690V, it offers a rated current of 6.3A and a short-circuit breaking capacity of up to 100kA at 400V. Equipped with a push-button drive, it allows for easy operation and manual motor control.
Application and functionality
The GV2ME10 starter finds wide application in industry, construction and commercial installations. It is ideal for anywhere that requires effective protection of motors up to 2.2 kW (at 400V). Thanks to its compact dimensions (45 x 89 x 78.2 mm) and the possibility of mounting on a DIN rail, the device is easy to install and integrate with existing systems. The use of characteristic C allows for trouble-free starting of devices with motors – the starter reacts more slowly to short-term current surges during start-up. Additionally, phase failure sensitivity increases the safety of the installation operation.
