This TeSys GB2 miniature motor starter is a reliable solution for protecting control circuits and various industrial equipment. Designed for mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail, it provides effective protection against overloads and short circuits. Its compact design, only 15 mm wide, allows for optimal use of space in switchboards.

This starter is characterized by a rated current of 2A and a rated voltage of 250V AC, making it ideal for use in electrical installations with standard parameters. The short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu) of 15 kA at 240V guarantees a quick and safe response in the event of a failure. Additionally, it can also be used to protect DC loads up to 2A/48V DC-13 with a breaking capacity of Icu 1.5kA@24V.

Design and functionality

The GB2CD07 starter has 1P+N polarity, meaning it protects both the phase and neutral. The thermal-magnetic tripping mechanism provides precise and reliable protection against overloads and short circuits. The switching lever allows for easy switching on and off of the circuit - guaranteeing up to 8000 operating cycles. The use of a "Other" tripping characteristic allows the starter's operation to be adapted to the specific needs of the application, providing optimal protection without unnecessary tripping.

The device meets a number of standards (IEC, UL, CSA) and has a Green Premium certificate (RoHS/REACh), confirming its high quality and compliance with environmental requirements. The cross-section of the connected multi-wire cable is from 0.75 mm² to 4 mm², and the single-wire cable from 0.75 mm² to 6 mm², providing flexibility when connecting different types of cables. The ambient temperature in operating conditions is in the range of -20°C to +60°C, which allows it to be used in various environmental conditions. The IP20 degree of protection provides basic protection against accidental contact.
