This Preventa UAF safety module, designed to operate with 24V DC, is a key element in systems ensuring the safety of machines and processes. The XPSUAF33AP module stands out for its versatility thanks to the ability to configure up to six different safety functions. This means that a single device can be adapted to the specific requirements of different applications, reducing the need to have many different components. The configurable start-up function and two channels of safety inputs provide flexibility in connecting various sensors and safety devices – including limit switches, proximity switches, light curtains or photoelectric sensors. It has three safety NO outputs and one diagnostic output, providing complete information about the device status.

The module meets the highest standards of functional safety, obtaining TÜV and UL certificates and compliance with IEC 61496-1, IEC 61508, ISO 13849-1 and IEC 62061 standards. It achieves the maximum safety level of PLe/category 4 (ISO 13849-1), SILC L 3 (IEC 62061) and SIL 3 (IEC 61508). The use of screw connections ensures solid and reliable electrical connections. Additionally, it has a feedback loop to increase the reliability of the system.
