The iETL-16-111-230 relay expansion is a key element of building automation systems, enabling flexible expansion of existing relay installations with additional auxiliary contacts. This compact modular device has been specifically designed for lighting control applications, where precise management of electrical circuits is required while maintaining high reliability and operational safety.

Construction and technical parameters

The device features a robust modular construction with dimensions of 60 × 18 × 84 mm, occupying exactly one module on a standard 35 mm wide DIN rail. A rated current of 16 A and an operating voltage of up to 415 V AC ensure full functionality in typical domestic and industrial installations.

The contact configuration includes one changeover contact (C/O) and one normally open contact (NO), allowing for various control schemes. The switching mechanism provides electrical endurance of 200000 cycles for AC-21 and 100000 cycles for AC-22, guaranteeing long-term trouble-free operation even under intensive use.

The power supply system supports two control voltages: 230...240 V AC (50...60 Hz) and 110 V DC, making the device compatible with most standard electrical installations. Input power is only 19 VA, which minimizes energy consumption during operation.

Operating and environmental parameters

The relay expansion operates in a wide temperature range from -20°C to +50°C, maintaining full functionality even in difficult environmental conditions. A relative humidity of up to 95% at 55°C and an IP20 protection rating ensure reliable operation in various installation conditions.

The switching frequency is 5 operations per minute, which corresponds to typical lighting application requirements. The minimum control pulse duration is 50 ms, ensuring stable and reliable switching without the risk of contact chatter.

The device meets the requirements for overvoltage category IV and pollution degree 3, guaranteeing safe operation in installations with increased reliability requirements.

Mounting is performed via fixed fastening on the right side of the main TL module on a symmetrical 35 mm DIN rail with 9 mm pitches (2 pitches), ensuring a stable mechanical and electrical connection between the modules of the expanded system.
