Power contactor – reliable motor control

This three-pole TeSys D power contactor is designed for efficient motor control up to 11 kW at 400 V (AC-3). The rated operating current is 25 A, making it an ideal solution for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. The contactor design is based on solid screw connections, ensuring secure and durable electrical connections.

The contactor is distinguished by its low coil power consumption of 24 V DC, which translates into energy savings and reduced power supply load. Built-in auxiliary contacts – one normally open (1NO) and one normally closed (1NC) – offer additional functionality without the need for additional modules. The wide range of applications includes controlling motors in industrial plants, buildings, and power and water management systems.

Design and features affecting performance

The TeSys D contactor is characterized by high mechanical endurance – as many as 1.5 million switching cycles, exceeding market standards. Compact dimensions (45 mm wide, 85 mm high and 101 mm deep) allow for easy mounting on DIN rail or by screws. Compliance with many standards (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine) and Green Premium certification confirm its safety and environmental care.

It is also worth mentioning the versatility of the contactor – the same accessories fit models from 9A to 150A, which simplifies component selection and minimizes storage costs. Integrated auxiliary contacts in a standard mirror arrangement (NO+NC) allow direct use in safety circuits in accordance with IEC standards. The auxiliary contacts are adapted to signals with a minimum current of 1 mA, allowing them to be connected directly to PLCs.
