Power contactor for demanding applications

This three-pole TeSys D power contactor, with a rated current of 18A, is designed to control motors in a variety of industrial applications – from pumping stations, through HVAC systems, to conveyors and other high-load equipment. Its robust construction ensures reliable operation with high switching frequency and long life, even in harsh conditions.

The LC1D18MD contactor is characterized by easy connection thanks to screw connections and availability in different coil voltage versions. Built-in auxiliary contacts (1NO + 1NC) with a mirrored NC certificate increase the functionality and safety of the installation. It is a proven choice for both maintenance teams and switchboard designers.

Design and operating parameters

The TeSys D LC1D18MD contactor has been designed for durability and efficiency. Its compact dimensions (77 mm high, 45 mm wide and 95 mm deep) allow for easy mounting on a DIN rail or by screws. It is designed to operate at speeds up to 3600 cycles per hour and an ambient temperature of up to 60°C.

The rated power of the contactor is 7.5 kW for AC-3 at 400 V and 4 kW for AC-4 at 400 V. The rated operating current Ie is 18 A for AC-3 (at 400 V) and 9 A for AC-4 (at 400 V). The rated operating current Ie for AC-1 at 400V is 32A. A 220 V DC coil provides reliable control.
