Power contactor – reliable motor control

This TeSys D power contactor is a robust solution for controlling three-phase motors. Designed to operate with loads up to 9A in AC-3 category (4kW at 400V), it is suitable for a variety of industrial and commercial applications. Its construction based on the proven TeSys D series guarantees high reliability and long life, both electrically and mechanically.

The LC1D09V7 contactor is equipped with a 400V AC coil (50/60Hz) and built-in auxiliary contacts – 1NO (normally open) and 1NC (normally closed). This allows for direct use in safety circuits in accordance with IEC standards, as well as easy connection to PLCs thanks to auxiliary contacts adapted to signals with a minimum current of 1mA. Connection is made using convenient screw terminals.

Construction and application

This contactor is used in controlling motors powering pumps, fans, conveyors, and also in automation panels. Its compact dimensions (77 mm high, 45 mm wide and 86 mm deep) allow for mounting both on a DIN rail and directly on the panel using screws. Mechanical endurance at 15 million switching cycles and high switching frequency (up to 3600 cycles per hour) make it an ideal choice for demanding applications.
