Auxiliary contact block – reliable control and signaling

The TeSys K auxiliary contact block is an element that expands the functionality of contactors and control relays. It allows adding additional auxiliary contacts to control circuits, which translates to greater flexibility and configuration possibilities for installations. It is designed to work with LC.K, LP.K contactors (excluding LP4K and LP5K) and CA2KN, CA3KN control relays.

Construction and mounting

Mounting is done from above, directly on the front of the contactor or relay. This solution ensures quick and secure mounting, without the need for additional tools. The electrical connection is made using screw terminals, which guarantees a solid and durable connection of the wires.

This block is characterized by high reliability and durability, confirmed by compliance certificates with many standards (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC) and compliance with Green Premium requirements (RoHs/Reach). This guarantees safe and environmentally friendly operation of the device.

Application and benefits

The TeSys K contact block is equipped with two normally open contacts (2NO) and two normally closed contacts (2NC), which can be used for various purposes:

• Status signaling: Informing about the on or off state of the main circuit.
• Control of auxiliary circuits: Switching on or off other devices depending on the state of the main circuit.
• Implementation of safety interlocks: Ensuring safe operation of the installation by blocking access to dangerous elements.

Thanks to the fact that this block allows increasing the number of control contacts of the TeSys K contactor and the control relay, greater freedom is gained in the design of control systems. Additionally, the possibility of frequent switching – even once per second – makes it an ideal solution for applications requiring dynamic operation. Built-in mirrored contacts increase the functionality of the device. The rated current of 10A at 230V AC ensures compatibility with a wide range of loads.
