The TeSys K LR2K0303 thermal overload relay is a reliable device used to protect electric motors from overload. Designed to work with TeSys K contactors, it provides effective protection in industrial and commercial applications. The device is characterized by a wide range of current setting, allowing it to be adapted to different loads. Its compact design makes it easy to install and integrate into existing installations.

Functionality and application

The LR2K0303 relay is designed to protect three-phase motors with a power of up to 0.09 kW at 400V. Thanks to its sensitivity to phase failure and load asymmetry, it not only protects against overload but also minimizes the risk of damage caused by improper operation of the power supply network. It has automatic and manual reset functions, which increase flexibility of use. Built-in auxiliary contacts (1NO + 1NC) allow signaling of the device status and remote control. Application in industry, construction or HVAC systems guarantees long-term and trouble-free operation of protected devices.

Construction and characteristic features

The TeSys K LR2K0303 relay is distinguished by a solid construction and high quality workmanship. It has an adjustable current setting knob in the range of 0.23 - 0.36A, which allows for precise adjustment to the load characteristics. It is equipped with a transparent cover with the possibility of sealing, which protects against unauthorized changes to the settings. Mounting is done directly on the LC1K contactor (from K06 to K16) or on a DIN rail using an additional mounting rail LA7K0064 (available separately). Electrical connections are made using screw terminals, ensuring a secure and durable connection of the wires. Additionally, the device has a flag indicator informing about tripping and a test slider switch simulating an overload condition for testing purposes. Class 10A tripping ensures a quick response to overloads with characteristic C – ideal for circuits with high starting current, e.g. motors with impulse load.
