Acti9 iOF auxiliary contact – reliable circuit status indication

The Acti9 iOF 2-100 mA 1CO auxiliary contact is a modular element used to remotely indicate the operating status of an associated device, such as a residual current device or an overcurrent device. This allows the installer to easily integrate it with the control system, and the end user to gain additional information about the protection status. The device is compatible with the Acti9 series, ensuring easy installation and replacement in existing installations.

Functionality and application

This auxiliary contact finds application in a wide range of electrical installations – from small commercial facilities, through residential buildings, to critical infrastructure, healthcare facilities, industry or data centers. Its versatility results from the possibility of cooperation with both AC and DC circuits and a wide range of rated currents (2mA – 100mA). Circuit status signaling using a 1C/O changeover contact allows for flexible adaptation to the needs of a specific application.

Installation and technical parameters

Installation is on a DIN rail, which is standard in electrical installations. Screw terminals allow connection of rigid copper wires with a cross-section of 1mm² to 4mm² and flexible copper wires with ferrules with a cross-section of 0.5mm² to 2.5mm². The rated insulation voltage Ui is up to 500V, and the rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp is 4kV. Compact dimensions (9mm wide) allow for efficient use of space in the switchboard. The device meets the standards EN/IEC 60947-5-1 and EN/IEC 60947-5-4 and has CE and UKCA certificates, which guarantees its safety and compliance with applicable regulations.
