iC60N circuit breaker – reliable installation protection

The iC60N circuit breaker is part of the Acti9 range, designed to effectively protect against short circuits and overloads in electrical installations. The iC60N-C4-3 model, with a rated current of 4A and C characteristic, is perfect for both domestic, commercial and industrial applications. It provides optimal safety for electrical circuits, meeting the requirements of IEC/EN 60947-2 and IEC/EN 60898-1.

Functionality and design features

This three-pole (3P) circuit breaker is distinguished by its solid construction and a number of practical solutions. The C characteristic means that the circuit breaker reacts with a slight delay to short-term current surges, which is particularly important when connecting devices with motors or other inductive loads – this avoids unnecessary tripping during start-up. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity (Icn) is 6kA at 400V and 230V, and the Icu capacity reaches 50kA at 400V and 230V (according to IEC 60947-2), which guarantees effective protection in the event of a failure.

The circuit breaker has a protection degree of IP20, which provides protection against finger contact. The possibility of connecting wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² (solid) or from 1 to 16 mm² (stranded) facilitates installation and adaptation to different types of installations. The width of the device, 3 modules, allows for efficient use of space in the switchboard.

• Tool-free mounting: the circuit breaker can be removed from the DIN rail without the use of additional tools.
• Double terminals: allow connection of wires from both the top and bottom of the device.
• Halogen-free material: made of halogen-free materials, which affects environmental safety.
