The SecurityNET S/FTP Cat. 7 cable is a solid solution for building networks where reliable data transmission is crucial. Designed for connections between distribution points and user outlets, it is ideal for computer networks, telephone systems, and CCTV monitoring systems. The construction with double shielding (S/FTP) effectively minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference, which is particularly important in installations carried out near sources of interference – for example, in the same cable trays as power cables.

The cable is distinguished by its high quality of workmanship and the use of materials ensuring safety. It has an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) outer coating, which in the event of a fire limits the emission of toxic gases and smoke, which translates into increased safety for users and installers. The reaction to fire class Dca further confirms its fire protection properties.

Construction and application

The SecurityNET S/FTP Cat. 7 cable is characterized by a construction based on eight copper conductors twisted in pairs, which ensures stable signal transmission. Shielding with foil and braid protects against external interference, and the solid construction guarantees durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The cable diameter is 7.6 mm, and its weight is 64 kg/km – which facilitates work during installation and allows for assessing the amount of material needed.
